A link to the NJEA website on professional development is provided to answer any questions you may have regarding the 100 hours requirement.
Earn Professional Development Hours at Home!
Are you in need of Professional Development hours? Did you know that the NJEA can help you out in the comfort of your own home? Just log onto www.njea.org and make sure you login using the member pin that is on the back of your NJEA card. The password is the last four digits of your social security number, if you haven't changed it yet. Logging on with your PIN and password takes you to the "members only page". Once you are there, bring your mouse onto "Our Profession" and then click "e-Learning". Read all about this great resource. On the left side of the page, you can click to see the "Course List". One MRTA member completed the course and received two hours of credit. When you complete the course, you will be able to print your certificate. Best of all... IT'S FREE!
